Ice hockey: Champions League with 44 teams

The four teams that can now look forward to a CHL ticket are Briancon Diables Rouge (FRA), Sønderjyske Vojens (DEN), Nottingham Panthers (GBR) and Vålerenga Oslo (NOR). There will be eleven groups of four. The eleven group winners and the five best runners-up qualify for the round of 16. The group divisions will be drawn in two weeks during the A-WM in Minsk.

Ice hockey: Champions League with 44 teams

The management of the Ice Hockey Champions League (CHL), in which the EBEL champions HCB Südtirol will also be able to take part next season, has decided to increase the number of participating teams to 44.
