Against Foxes: Ritten suffers first defeat

The HCB was a real endurance test for Ritten: The Talferstädter won all of their preparation games, and Clayton Beddoes put together the best possible line-up. Only regular goalie Leland Irving was spared, backup Justin Fazio took his place. Ritten, on the other hand, was once again able to make the most of it.

Foxes start well The guests from Klobenstein had two good chances to score right at the start of the game with Markus Spinell and Julian Kostner, but Fazio was always at his post. For the White-Reds, Luca Frigo had a great opportunity to make it 1-0 after ten minutes, but he shot over Kevin Lindskoug's box from close range. The Rittner Buam's winning streak is broken. After Alex Frei & Co. won four test games in a row, the current Italian champions suffered their first defeat on Sunday evening at HCB Südtirol Alperia.
