Val Gardena loses its top scorer: Maylan is out for four weeks

Bad news at HC Gherdeina: The Canadian center forward suffered a splintered bone in his knee during the home game against Eppan on Saturday after a collision with Jan Waldner and will be out for four to five weeks. Coach Mensonen also has to make do without the injured Fabrizio Senoner and Oliver Schenk.
