Gunnar Braito and Stefan Ramoser strengthen the Broncos

Gunnar Braito , born in Brixen in 1983 and 178 tall and 76 kg, comes to the Broncos from last year's farm team HC Meran Junior. In Meran, as a leading player, he eclipsed his previous career bests and scored thirteen goals and 42 assists in 28 games for a total of 41 points. He also scored a goal and an assist in the five playoff games against Eppan. Many Broncos fans remember Braito from the 2011 final series, where he demanded everything from the Broncos with HC Gröden and made the six final games an unforgettable experience .

Braito has the task of compensating for the very likely departure of some Broncos players and coach Oly Hicks is sure that he will be able to meet these expectations: "Gunnar brings a lot of experience from a wide range of situations in Italian ice hockey. He is a very Fast ice skater who always plays with a lot of effort, is very dangerous in scoring and is generally strong offensively. At the same time, he can take on a wide variety of roles in the team. I also really liked him in a defensive role in the 2011 final and he was great against our first line "I remember him as a player who was very difficult to play against and who also did an excellent job in penalty killing."

Braito made a total of 2 appearances in Serie A280 with Brixen, Turin, Milan, Val Gardena and Meran and scored 154 points (68 goals and 86 assists).

The second newcomer to the Wipptal team is 22-year-old Rittner Stefan Ramoser . For study reasons, the offensive defender recently only played in the Tyrolean league at EC Zirl, where, however, he was an import player alongside experienced and strong players such as Marian Kacir (former DEL, Elitserien and Extraliga player), Yuri Tsurenkov (350 appearances in the highest Austrian league ) or Thomas Chlubna (393 extra league games, 128 appearances in the SM-Liiga and 52 appearances in the first Russian league). The beefy right-handed shooter (80 kg spread over 180 cm) has recorded 69 goals and 36 assists in a total of 33 games over the last two years, with a total of 62 penalty minutes. In Zirl, the coach used him both as a defender and, on occasion, as a striker and raved about the fitness and maturity of the offensive defender, born in 1990, who had already made 67 appearances in Serie A over two seasons before starting his studies at Ritten Sport and collected two assists. In the 2007/08 season, Stefan Ramoser played in the DNL for ESV Kaufbeuren, where he collected four goals and five assists in 33 games.

Oly Hicks remembers Ramoser's performances with the Italy U20 national team: "I saw him with the U20 national team and he was a good all-round defender there. His skating skills, his fitness and his good condition will help him a lot , to quickly get used to the higher level again and I assume that he will be able to help our team a lot after a short adjustment period. He can get the puck out of the defensive zone well and, above all, quickly, and if he uses his skills "He will certainly be able to play a big role in our build-up game."

Ramoser himself assesses the Tyrolean League, which forms the fourth Austrian league with other leagues, as follows: "The level is certainly lower than in Serie A2, but the imports are still very strong in some cases. However, there is often a difference between the individual teams a big difference, but overall it was a good experience. Plus, it was the only thing that could be combined with my very time-consuming studies at the MCI in Innsbruck. In the third year, I now have a little more time and am looking forward to going back to one to be able to demonstrate higher levels."
