HC Bozen: The first home win is here!

Although the HCB only picked up one point in the last three games, the improvement in performance shown in Villach and Salzburg gives the white-red players and fans hope for significantly better times - if the duel with feared opponents Dornbirn wasn't just around the corner. The two teams met five times last season and not once did Bozen score full points. Before this season, Vorarlberg significantly increased their goals and upgraded the squad with experienced cracks such as Kyle Greentree, Matt Siddall, Dustin Sylvester and Marek Zagrapan. Dornbirn got off to a furious start to the season: after three wins in a row, they suffered their first defeat against KAC last weekend. The Bulldogs are currently leading the table together with Znojmo.

McMonagle: "It's time to score important points"

“The DEC players are very quick on the ice and show enormous strength of character as a team,” says HCB defender Sean McMonagle, who still firmly believes in their first win in front of a home crowd: “We want to prove our strength at home again this year. Friday's game will be a tough test for us. Despite the short training time, we have already done well so far and now it is time to go one step further and get important points.”

All players are available to coach Tom Pokel. In the coming weeks, the HC Bozen coach is planning to add three more new additions who will make the most of the points quota and enable a four-line game. The first home wins should have been achieved by then.
