HC Bozen launches new project

Among them is the captain, Alex Tava: the Bolzano-Trient forward has played the last three seasons in Chiavenna, where he scored 68 points in 110 games. Growing up in the HCB youth team, Tava has worn the jersey of HCB Foxes Junior, EC Bozen, Pergine, Neumarkt and Ritten throughout his career. Another well-known name is Denny Deanesi. The 27-year-old striker from Trentino brings with him a respectable CV: in his career he played with the jerseys of the first teams of Trento, Pergine and Kaltern before making the quantum leap and arriving at HC Bozen in 2015, where he made a total of 63 appearances in the EBEL recorded. In the following two seasons he moved to the Wipptal Broncos Weihenstephan in the Alps Hockey League, where he scored 67 points in 45 games. In 2018 he tried his luck in Sweden with the Tyringe and Trollhättans. Now he has decided to play again and start with the colors of HC Bozen-Trient in IHL Division 1. “The project was born to create a powerful team that can compete in the fight to win the championship,” said the president of the HCB Foxes Academy, Manuela Carrucciu: “With Trent we have found a young and open-minded reality, with many young players with perspective: I am sure that the cooperation achieved will give hockey in the province and the region a significant boost, with the aim of becoming a talent factory for the first team of the ICE Hockey League.” Enthusiasm is great “We are enthusiastic about what we have undertaken,” says HC Trento President Maurizio Riganti: “We are letting the technical staff work with the greatest possible composure and the first signals are extremely positive.
