HC Bozen: Everything should be fine at home

The Vorarlbergers completed an all-round renovation in the summer months - from the logo to the player squad. The calculation seems to be working: on the first match day the Bulldogs surprisingly won in Salzburg, followed by a defeat against Innsbruck on the second match day, but only in extra time. With Dornbirn, three former White Reds will return to the ice wave, namely last year's point guarantee Reid, Ziga Pance, the top scorer in 2014, and defender Sean McMonagle. Coach Dave MacQueen's stated goal for the season is to reach the playoffs.

HCB coach Pat Curcio can take full advantage of the first home game of the season. He will be assisted for the first time by his assistant Phil Barski, who arrived in the state capital on Wednesday. They let the cracks sweat in the ice wave during their first joint training session on Thursday.

“We work very hard,” confirms Bolzano striker Michele Marchetti, who immediately has a recipe for success ready: “We simply have to make fewer mistakes in the future and be more disciplined. “We could have won the match against Innsbruck in particular with a little more attention and a few fewer penalty minutes.” Meanwhile, defender Chris Carlisle sees a positive trend: “The team is coming together more and more and mutual trust is growing. The upcoming games against Dornbirn and Vienna represent a big challenge. I can't wait to play in the ice wave in front of our fans who have already cheered us on in the away games."

The home premiere on Friday is scheduled for 19.45:18 p.m., while on Sunday at XNUMX p.m. the HCB welcomes title holders Vienna Capitals.
