HC Interspar Bozen wins in Bruneck 155. Derby against Pustertal 4:2

It was a first-class hockey evening. The league leaders welcomed the second-placed team, the best attack in the league (the Pusterers had scored 126 goals so far) and the strongest defense in Serie A (Bolzne had only conceded 69 goals). Stefan Mair, coach of the Puster team, had to do without Joe Cullen and Thomas Erlacher, while Bozen was missing Christian Walcher, Mika Lehtinen and Anton Bernard.

Although Erwin Kostner's team always trailed behind (0:2 after the first third, 1:2 after the second third, 3:2 after 3 minutes), they were ultimately able to prevail 4:50. The two decisive goals were scored by Roland Ramoser in the 6 minute and Lorenz Daccordo exactly two minutes later in the hosts' empty goal. Jonathan Pittis celebrated his season debut at Pontebba, goalkeeper Hocevar had to leave the ice injured after 4 minutes and Massimo Camin came on to replace him. With this victory, Ritten remains third in the table, but is now four points ahead of Valpellice.
