HCP wins in Val Gardena - Van Guilder secures victory for Ritten

The Rittner Buam initially turned a 0-2 lead into a 3-2 lead against Valpellice. Before the home team struck back and made it 4:3. Then, however, guest striker Mark Van Guilder made his big appearance: First, he saved his team with the score 4:4 in overtime. There he finally scored Rittner's winning goal.

By losing one point, the HCP reduced the gap to the league leaders to seven points. The Wolves won 5-1 at HC Gherdeina. After former Val Gardena player Justin Maylan and Luke Moffatt hit the mark in the first half, both teams went into the first break tied at 1-1. After that, the guests tightened the reins significantly and ultimately achieved an unchallenged success thanks to goals from Armin Helfer, Kevin DeVergilio, Ryan Kavanagh and Francois Bouchard.

For a long time, WSV Vipiteno also looked like the sure winner in Cortina. Jason Walters, Maksims Sirokovs, Adam Hughesman and John Lazo gave the Broncos a 4-1 lead before the Ampezzans added tension in the final phase. In the end it was a 4-3 guest win.

On the 20th matchday of Serie A, league leaders Ritten barely got their head out of the noose in Torre Pellice. Pustertal, on the other hand, had little trouble against Val Gardena, completely different to Vipiteno in Cortina.
