A brilliant HCB victory with a downer

Thanks to a brilliant performance, the Foxes beat the Caps 5-2 and celebrated their first win in the Pick Round. Patrick Wiercioch, Dan Catenacci, Anthony Bardaro, Angelo Miceli and Colton Hargrove provided the goals. But the HCB played a very strong penalty killing, didn't let anything go wrong and showed themselves a little later how they have to act in a double majority. But the otherwise unconvincing Viennese team showed what class they had in one action: with one more man on the ice (Catenacci was in the penalty box after an unnecessary check), the Austrians combined and got a flattering equalizer through Kyle Baun. Turbulent final third While the two teams were stingy with goals in the first 40 minutes, things went off again in the final third. First Catenacci made amends for his mistake and scored after a rebound (shot from Daniel Glira) to make it 2-1 (44th), then Bolzano's top scorer Anthony Bardaro made it 3-1 (54th) after strong preparatory work from Catenacci. .
