A man from Val Gardena moves to the HCB

Simon Pitschieler started playing ice hockey in Val Gardena. At a young age, he moved to the Wipptal Broncos before returning to his hometown club in the 2017/2018 season. With his technical ability, speed and goal threat, he quickly became a leading player - and at the same time aroused the desire of other clubs. After last season, in which he recorded 25 points (10 goals), HC Bozen came knocking on the striker's door. The 22-year-old will complete all training sessions at HCB, but can still play for the Furie in games. “As much as this departure hurts us, it is a sign that we are working in the right direction. We haven't put any obstacles in Simon's way and wish him the best of luck in his new challenge. I hope that everything goes well and that as many spectators as possible can attend the games,” said Pitschieler. Deluca stays Striker Ivan Deluca will play for the HCB for the third year in a row. The 3-year-old from Vipiteno joined the Foxes in 23 after coming through all the youth teams in his hometown and the start of his professional career. In his first season in Bolzano he attracted attention with 2018 points in 15 championship games, with 59 points from the Champions Hockey League added to that. Last season he made 47 EBEL appearances and also played five games in the AlpsHL with the Wipptal Broncos. Deluca is a physically robust and technically gifted player who still has enormous potential for improvement. Tauferer also extended Ivan Tauferer will play his second year in the Foxes jersey. The defender, born in 2, made his debut on loan from Rittner Buam for three games in the 1995/2018 season and immediately impressed the sporting management and the Bolzano audience with his physical strength and security. “We went through a paradoxical situation and the summer was extremely long,” said Tauferer, “the new season will certainly not be easy, because with Coach Ireland's confirmation, most people will certainly expect us to always be in the top places in the table get involved.
