Ice hockey Bolzano in ecstasy: Foxes are in the semi-finals

This wasn't for the faint of heart! HC Bozen was already very close to ending the season in the all-important seventh quarter-final duel with the Black Wings, but saved themselves into extra time and ultimately won 3-2. Dustin Gazley became the celebrated match winner.

The Italian-American decided a game that could hardly have been more difficult for Bozen. They fell behind after just a few seconds of the game, and then failed throughout the entire game due to the aluminum, Linz's tight defense and their own poor finishing. They celebrated the overtime victory like a championship title - also because they knew that this was a very hard piece of work.

Take a deep breath. HCB Südtirol Alperia won a real playoff thriller against Linz and sent more than 5300 fans into pure joy in the Sparkasse Arena. From Friday the Foxes will play against Vienna.
