Foxes shoot harmless 99ers out of the hall

HC Bozen will also be competing in the post-season in its eighth year in Austria's highest ice hockey league, that much is certain after the home win against Graz. Afterwards, the Foxes held the scepter securely in their hands without properly pressing the accelerator pedal. This was to change briefly in the 17th minute when Dennis Robertson made it 2-0 in a burst of energy. The defender rushed on the offensive, turned around in front of 99ers goalie Ben Bowns and defeated him ice cold. Foxes flex their muscles After the first break, the home side increased the speed slightly and pushed for an early decision. Dustin Gazley and Angelo Miceli finally brought this about with a double strike halfway through the game. Gazley, who had already hit the bar, was brilliantly put in the spotlight by the high-class technician Findlay, while Miceli hit the mark with a rebound. Although Leland Irving was able to prove himself with spectacular catch hand saves, there was no longer any tension in the ice wave after the 4-0 win. Graz acted far too sleepily in all parts of the team to seriously trouble the Bolzano defense, in which Karl Stollery made his home game debut.

Things only got really heated in the final phase when Anton Bernard first hit the inside post and then Mike Halmo's already tense nerves were put to the test again. The Canadian got Dominik Grafenthin's stick rammed into his soft parts and had to go to the cooler with a 2+2 minute penalty because of his angry reaction. It remains to be seen how the sports judges will evaluate the action afterwards.

After that, the fair was said in the ice wave and the HCB cracks could immediately turn their attention to the next home game.
