HCB coach Ireland: “There is a big possibility that I will stay”

Greg Ireland has been in charge at HCB Südtirol Alperia since January 2nd, 2020. The coach from Orangeville near Toronto has shaped the Foxes into the number 1 title contender in the ICE Hockey League. He talks to s+ about the country of South Tyrol, his coaching secrets, the closest title rivals and his possible stay in Bolzano.

The 55-year-old Canadian almost raves when he talks about South Tyrol. “I love working and living here. This is a wonderful area in every respect. South Tyrol is one of the most beautiful places in the world. “I’m lucky to be able to train here,” says Ireland, spreading roses to our country.
