Home victory! The HCB is marching again

After the Shoot-out victory over Znojmo Against Dornbirn, regular goalie Leland Irving was back between the posts for Jakes Smith. And there was work waiting for the 30-year-old Canadian. Dornbirn was better in the opening minutes and missed the best chance through Stefan Häusle, who was denied from the slot by the well-reacting HCB goalkeeper (8th). The Foxes shook briefly, then became dangerous for the first time through Mike Blunden and Marco Insam (10th). Seconds later there was a rattle in the Dornbirn gate. Home victory! The HCB is marching again

After the 4-0 win against Znojmo, HCB Südtirol Alperia went one better. In front of their own crowd, the Foxes won against Dornbirn 2-1 after a tough fight. HCB goalie Leland Irving became the match winner.
