Nervous Foxes lose in the top game

The KAC deservedly won the summit meeting 4-2 and inflicted its first defeat on HC Bozen in the second round. In the Klagenfurt town hall, the Foxes failed to put on their usual powerful game and repeatedly showed nerves in the many heated moments.

An example of Bolzano's indiscipline is Dan Catenacci, who pushed Stefan Geier to the ground with a cross check after a push and consequently incurred a match penalty. It was thanks to Bolzano's exceptional North American talent that a point was still possible until shortly before the end. After Clemens Unterweger made it 2-0 with a hidden shot and Lukas Haudum made it 1-2 with a one-timer, Halmo shortened the score to XNUMX-XNUMX in a remarkable way.
