Bankruptcy in Vienna: Bolzano has lost its lead in the table

Captain Anton Bernard & Co. lost 2:1 despite a 2:3 lead and left the ice as losers for the first time since October 18th. Vienna started the game very offensively and caused some problems for the Bolzano team with unpleasant forechecking, especially at the beginning of the game. Due to the home team's early disruption, the HCB often lost the target during the build-up to the game and was lucky several times not to fall behind early on. Vause and Campbell ensure the knockout In the final section, the HCB was very good defensively for a long time and hardly allowed the Capitals to make a dangerous finish. While the hosts struggled to find a gap, Bolzano remained extremely dangerous on the counterattack and had the decisive 3-1 win on several occasions. However, when the Viennese started the final offensive, they struck ice cold twice and wrapped up the victory with late goals: First, the ex-Bozen player Vause equalized to 2-2, before top scorer Campbell was brilliantly served by Loney and equalized short distance for a 2-3 win.
