Salzburg pulls the Foxes’ teeth

The game started very badly for HC Bozen, as Salzburg was looking for revenge for their opening defeat from the first seconds of the game. The “Bulls” immediately put the away goal under constant siege and shot Pekka Tuokkola with several shots from distance. However, like the day before, he appeared wide awake and defused one shot after the next. Bozen was only able to free itself from the hold after ten minutes, but then promptly became dangerous. Angelo Miceli found the best opportunity to date when he tested Salzburg goalie Bernhard Starkbaum completely free with a backhander. Afterwards, Bolzano left two power plays unused, so the first break went goalless.

Raphael Herburger matched him with three revolutions of the pointer. His shot also hit the post. This was Salzburg's third aluminum goal. For its part, Bozen couldn't make it forward - and finally conceded the third goal. John Hughes scored an empty-net goal a minute before the end to make it 3-0. The equalizer in the final series was therefore set in stone. Now the final series moves to the Bolzano Eiswelle, where the next two duels will take place on Thursday and Friday.

Salzburg pulls the Foxes’ teeth

HCB Südtirol Alperia's incredible run of success has come to a halt. After five playoff wins en suite, the Bolzano team had to admit defeat 3-0 in the second away game in Salzburg. The final series is therefore completely open again before the Foxes' home game double pack.
