Again: Pustertal celebrates an incredible derby evening

What feels like a sweet déjà vu experience for every Bruneck ice hockey fan turns into a never-ending nightmare for the fans in Bolzano - especially the 2350 who attended the derby in the ice wave - exactly one month later the last derby victory HC Pustertal won again against HCB 3-2 - and once again the ice wave was the scene of a fabulous comeback. The Black and Yellows achieved their third win in the fourth and possibly last duel of the season.

The parallels to the game on December 21st were astonishing on Friday evening: Bolzano was once again in the lead 2-0 in the derby between the two arch-rivals and controlled the proceedings until the Wolves, who were believed to be dead, first equalized with an enormous moral act and then finally made it 3-2 -Scored the winning goal. Unlike a month before, this time the game was only decided in overtime. This leaves the HCB with one point as little consolation. 3 Bruneck defenders hit The second-placed team from the capital – driven by Alex Trivellato and Mike Halmo – was overwhelmingly superior, especially in the middle section, but literally fell apart in the critical moments of the fast-paced and tough test of strength.
