Victory in the top game: Fehervar doesn't stop the HCB express

Tim Campbell had expected a different HC Bozen than the 0-3 defeat in Hungary a month and a half ago. The ex-Foxes defender got what he wanted, as the Bolzano team didn't give Fehervar the slightest chance on Saturday evening in an eerily empty wave of ice. Miceli with an irresistible individual action (1st) and Marco Insam with a goal (31th) increased the score to 35-3. Catenacci ensures decision The second in the table, where last year's Fox Colton Hargrove was injured for a short time, gave the HCB a tough fight despite their inferiority. Istvan Bartalis scored the next goal in the power play (43') and the Hungarians gained some ground. Anze Kuralt tested the almost unemployed Leland Irving, the HCB goalie stood where he had to stand (47th).

Fehervar was now wildly determined, after all, a win would mean taking the lead in the table. Janus kept his team in the game with a mega save against Halmo (50th). While the guests were pushing for the second goal, the HCB struck: After a blueliner from Nick Plastino, Catenacci (2th) made the decision. Bozen jumps to third place after the win against Fehervar and can overtake the Hungarians with a win on Sunday against Villach (54 p.m.). HCB Südtirol Alperia continues to ride the wave of success. After the 4-1 win in the top game against second-placed Fehervar AV19, the Foxes jumped to third place in the ICE Hockey League.
