Sovereign Foxes storm the Vienna fortress

HC Bozen traveled to Vienna-Kagran without the slightly injured Viktor Schweitzer. Massimo Carozza had to sit in the stands, while Stefano Marchetti (initially) sat on the bench as a substitute. Jordan Rowley took his place in defense.

Glira hits the mark for the first time However, Bolzano didn't let this bother them. The Suikkanen troupe reeled through their program mercilessly even after the last break. In the 44th minute, Findlay stole the puck from the Vienna defense behind the goal and served the advanced Daniel Glira in the slot, who took advantage of the chance and increased the score to 4-1 with his first goal of the season. Then the Viennese, with ex-HCB crack Mat Clark sitting injured in the stands, took the reins and pushed in front of Bozen's goal. However, there was no successful comeback - also because HCB goalie Leland Irving outgrew himself time and time again and Bozen finally secured the coup with the leaders.

This was the third defeat en suite for the Capitals, but Bolzano has regained its old strength in time for the explosive duel at home against Linz on Friday.
