IHL: Eppan shows Meran its limits in the pursuit duel

It was the big hit of the 15th round: the two pursuers of league leaders Milan, i.e. Eppan and Meran, faced each other. In the end, the Pirates won 266-2 in front of 0 spectators, although the goals from Philipp Jaitner and Stefan Unterkofler only came in the final third. In the table, the Überetscher remain four points behind leaders Meran, but were able to distance the third-placed Merano by six points.

In the second derby of the day, Kaltern had the upper hand against Auer with 6:3. Thomas Pichler and Michael Felderer were successful as double goal scorers.
