IHL: Only two teams left with a clean slate

Leaders HC Milan had to use all their skills in the Raiffeisen Arena in Kaltern in order to be able to leave the ice as 5-2 winners. The Kalterer team took the lead in the first third with Bastian Andergassen (5.34/PP). At the beginning of the second third, Simon Andergassen even increased the score to 2-0 (3.04). Before the end of the second period, Milan equalized and secured victory with three goals in the final third. ASC Auer also leads the table with a clean slate together with Milan. In Feltre, the Unterlanders won clearly with 5-0 goals. HC Eppan also did not concede a goal against HC Chiavenna. The Pirates won 3-0.

5-0 lead given away

Until a minute before the end of the second period, Fiemme looked like the sure winner against Varese. Fiemme was already leading 5-0 before Varese and Andreoni were able to cosmeticize the result (19.25). In the third period the game turned around and Varese equalized 5:5 with four goals. But that wasn't enough: In extra time, Rigoni gave Varese a victory that was no longer believed possible. HC Meran celebrated its second victory in the current championship. Away in Alleghe, Ansoldi & Co. won 5:2.
