The traditional outdoor match on New Year's Day is one of the highlights of the NHL. This year at the “Winter Classic” the New York Rangers beat the Buffalo Sabers 41.000-3 after overtime in front of 2 spectators and at minus seven degrees Celsius. The big show was also provided by the Austrian Michael Grabner, who made it 2-0 for New York - and benefited from the preparatory work of his teammate Kevin Hayes, which makes ice hockey hearts beat faster.
