Ingemar Gruber: “The title would be the crowning achievement”

On April 13, 1999, the then 22-year-old Ingemar Gruber lifted the Serie A championship trophy with HC Meran. Now, almost exactly 17 years after that historic evening in the Bolzano ice wave, the Adler are just a beat away from winning the Serie B title. For Captain Gruber, this would be the brilliant end to his ice hockey career.
