2 comebacks in sight: Italy gets prominent reinforcements

Italy's national ice hockey team delivered its best tournament performance to date in a duel with Latvia on Whit Monday. In the end it was a 0-3 defeat. The game still gave the Azzurri courage - as did two well-known comebacks that are on the horizon.

The program is tightly scheduled in Riga. Since Friday, the Blue Team has played three games in four days. The two days of break that Giorgio De Bettin's team can now enjoy are worth their weight in gold - as are the two comebacks that are on the horizon. Two players have overcome their corona infection and are already with the team or will join them shortly.
