A victory for morale: Italy is sending signs of life

After the young Blue Team (average age 24 years) lost the first game against hosts Hungary 1:4, the Azzurri won the final game against Ukraine 4:3 after a penalty shootout. The course of the game was completely crazy.

Within just 6 minutes, Ukraine completely turned the game around (two goals after a power play) and led 3-2 shortly before the end. But Ivan Deluca saved the Azzurri in overtime at the last second. Nothing more happened in this, so the game was decided in a penalty shootout.
