A lot of things are new in the Blue Team

A team that has an average age of 24 and has to make do without many top players. A supervisory staff that has a prominent name added to it. And two very young goalies who can provide a test of talent in the two tough tests. This is Italy's national ice hockey team, which will meet again on Monday for the first time since qualifying for the Olympics and begin preparations for the World Cup in May. After the disappointing performance at the Olympic qualifying tournament in Riga, Italy's national ice hockey team will meet again for the first time next week. Coach Greg Ireland has - out of necessity - turned the squad around.
