The team is led by coach Greg Ireland, who has been the Azzurri's coach since March. The 42 players (4 goalkeepers, 14 defensemen, 24 strikers) work in 2 different groups in order to have the best possible conditions for good ice training. “It wasn’t easy to complete such a training camp. The Covid regulations in particular posed a challenge for us,” explains Italy’s sports director Stefan Zisser. Training will take place in Neumarkt until Sunday, and the entourage will be staying at the Four Points by Sheraton in Bolzano. A total of 26 South Tyroleans are taking part.
