New to the Blue Team: Premiere for 2 HCB players

After the training camp in Formia in July, the Blue Team will set up camp next Sunday in the Neumarkt Würth Arena. The first joint ice training session is on the agenda there. It serves as preparation for 2021. Then the Azzurri want to avoid relegation at the World Cup in Riga, Latvia, and qualify for the 2022 Olympics.

Ireland nominated the two Italian-Canadians Justin Fazio and Domenic Alberga for the national team for the first time. A total of 42 players (4 goalkeepers, 15 defenders and 23 strikers) will be in Neumarkt, including 24 South Tyroleans. Nick Plastino, Alex Petan, Anthony Bardaro, Stefano Giliati, Marco Rosa and Massimo Carrozza had to cancel due to quarantine regulations. Giovanni Morini can't be there either.
