Switzerland keeps a clean slate

As in previous games, Patrick Fischer's team impressed with fast-paced offensive ice hockey. After just five minutes, Andres Ambühl put his team ahead 1-0. This was followed by a phase in which the Norwegians also had their chances, although Leonardo Genoni could not be defeated.

In the second half of the game it didn't take long before the Swiss could celebrate again. NHL player Nico Hischier increased the score to 34-2 after just 0 seconds. Afterwards the resistance was broken a little - Gregory Hofmann and again Ambühl increased the result further in the last part of the game. At least Norway scored a consolation goal through Tobias Lindstrom. The Scandinavians are tied on points with the “Azzurri” and Austria in last place in the table.

USA minimalist In Group A, the United States led by superstar Patrick Kane showed a mediocre performance against Great Britain. True to the motto “a good horse doesn’t jump higher than it has to”. In the end it was 6:3 in favor of the tournament favorite.

Switzerland keeps a clean slate

Thanks to a confident 4-1 win against Norway, the Swiss secured their fourth win in their fourth game. This means that the 2018 silver medalist in Group B continues to salute from the top of the table.
