Victory in the penalty thriller: Italy stays in class!
After six bitter claps, the Italian national ice hockey team showed its true colors and won the most important, final World Cup game in Bratislava with enormous passion. Goalie Andreas Bernard led the Blue Team to a penalty victory against Austria. The Azzurri remain in the world group, the ÖEHV team is relegated.

The points table is a little wrong, Italy has 2 points (for winning the penalty shootout) and Austria has one (for losing the penalty shootout). But that doesn't change anything!
