This is what the Azzurri's World Cup schedule looks like

Today, Tuesday, the second training block begins for the Blue Team in Alba di Canazei for the Ice Hockey World Championships (May 13th to 29th) in Finland. Alex Trivellato & Co. had already been sweating in the Fassa Valley last week. This week, national coach Greg Ireland's team is completing the second of six training camps with a view to the World Cup. The other stations are Neumarkt (April 18th to April 22nd or April 30th to May 4th), Pontebba (April 27th to April 30th) and Conventry (May 4th to May 10th). After the training camp in Great Britain, the Azzurri will fly to Helsinki for the title fight. In total, the Italian national team will play 6 friendly matches before the World Cup. In Helsinki, the Blue Team will face Switzerland, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Slovakia and Kazakhstan in Group A from May 14th to 23rd. Ireland has nominated a total of 24 South Tyroleans for the provisional 13-man squad. HC Bozen has the most players (7), followed by HC Pustertal (6).
