Tkachuk redeems the Panthers again

Again it goes into overtime between the Florida Panthers and the Carolina Hurricanes, again Matthew Tkachuk scores the victory - but this time faster than his first success.

The Florida Panthers also won their second road game at the Carolina Hurricanes in the NHL playoffs and took a 2-0 lead in the Eastern Conference Finals. The Panthers won 2-1 after extra time on the night of Saturday to Sunday, but this time they didn't have to worry for quite as long as before in the opening success two days earlier. The game went into extra time four times and only ended shortly before 2.00 a.m.

Once again, the great Matthew Tkachuk scored the decisive goal for the Panthers, who can now win the series in the two upcoming home games. It started with Jalen Chatfield for the Hurricanes, who made it 1-0 after just under two minutes. In the low-scoring game, the equalizer only came in the middle of the second third, when captain Alexander Barkov gave Anti Raanta the advantage and scored to make it 1-1 for the Panthers.
