What to do if the quality is not enough?

It was May 10, 1997, and the venue for the World Cup was Finland: Italy swept France off the ice at the end of the relegation round with 8-1 and finished the tournament in 8th place. The Blue Team hasn't performed better since then.

Back then, such gifted and well-paid North American exceptional talents as Gates Orlando, Bruno Zarrillo and Mike Rosati put on the azure jersey. Now, almost exactly 25 years later, Italy's ice hockey team was back in action in Finland. There was no trace of the splendor of days gone by. Unlike 1997, Italy was inferior to each of the 7 group opponents. The bare numbers prove this finding.
