Defending champion Tampa Bay equalizes

Thanks to a 5:3 away win against the Toronto Maple Leafs, defending champion Tampa Bay Lightning managed to level the score at 1:1 in the direct duel. Edmonton outclassed the Los Angeles Kings 6-0.
