Italian Olympic team loses first test match against HC Saryarka Karaganda 2:3

On Monday evening the first of five test matches for the Italian ice hockey Olympic team took place in Vipiteno. Rick Cornacchia's team, which has its training camp in the Fuggerstadt, met HC Saryarka Karaganda. The Kazakhs are also preparing for the championship in Pinerolo. The “Azzurri” showed a strong performance, especially in the starting third, and took the lead twice, but ultimately lost 2-3.
