Squad planning at Broncos Vipiteno is almost complete

Apart from those regular players who have to end or at least put their ice hockey career on hold for professional reasons, i.e. Simon Baur, Patrick Mair and Hannes Stofner, the only thing missing from the established regulars is the signature of defender Daniel Maffia. Maffia has been in South America for several months to study, but has already indicated that he wants to continue playing for the Broncos.

Jonas Steiner (1996) will not be available among the young defense prospects. However, Dominik Bernard (1997) and Markus Trenkwalder (1997), who have shown in the last two seasons that they have what it takes to become a future regular player, have been confirmed. In the storm, the Wildpferde have to record the departure of Simon Pitschieler, who will return to his hometown club Val Gardena. However, David Gschnitzer (1996) and Felix Tschimben (1997) as well as Tommy Gschnitzer (1997) are still there. The position of Michael Delueg (1997) is uncertain, as he will only find out in mid-August whether he has passed the entrance exam for a course of study in Vienna. An old acquaintance, however, wants to attack again: after a few attempts, Tommy Kruselburger, born in 1995, wants to try again in preparation to convince the new coach.

The new coach is the former Slovenian international striker and Ljubljana and Graz 99ers head coach Ivo Jan. He will be in Vipiteno from Tuesday and has made it clear during his previous meetings with the Broncos players that he will continue the club's previous line. This means that places in the first team will continue to be awarded based on performance and effort.

The WSV Vipiteno Broncos Weihenstephan team is mostly complete. Most of the regular players from last season have been confirmed, but the coach is a new one.
