Kaltern starts the playoff as favorite - The pairings

The SV Kaltern decided the “final” for first place against their local rivals Eppan with 3:2 for themselves. The Hecht were behind 0-2 after the first third, but turned things around in the second period and shot themselves into the regular season winners with a brace from Michael Felderer and a goal from Lorenz Daccordo.

While Eppan, in fourth place, now has to play against its neighbors Fiemme, the Hechte will go to the derby in the quarter-finals Auer . The Frogs badly botched their playoff dress rehearsal on Sunday: They lost to Milan 2-9.

The 700 fans in the MeranArena were treated to a foretaste of the quarter-finals, the HC Merano Alleghe defeated 6-4. Both teams will meet again in the knockout round.

Meanwhile, the season is over for the second representative Rittner Buam , who said goodbye to the summer break in tenth place with an overtime win against Chiavenna.
