The long-time national striker played in Serie A for Valpellice and Ritten, in the late autumn of his career he won the INL title with Neumarkt, but above all he was one of the great figureheads of HC Bozen for over a decade. He won seven trophies with the club from his hometown and played alongside countless well-known players. “The NHL players Niklas Hjalmarsson, Peter Schaefer, Deron Quint and Eric Belanger were outstanding,” remembers Dorigatti, but adds: “But other names still give me goosebumps today. “It’s primarily my childhood idols with whom I was later able to stand on the ice: Mike Rosati, Bruno Zarillo, Martin Pavlu as well as Igor Maslennikov and Sergej Vostrikov.”

For his personal all-star team, the now 40-year-old has selected players with whom he has experienced great moments on and off the ice over the years. “I'm breaking the rules with a seventh outfield player who I just want to have on the team because of his character,” said Dorigatti. Tor Günther Hell (career ended): “From the first youth team to the national team, we always played together. We grew up together at a club as big as HC Bozen, which brings us together enormously. His achievements cannot be overestimated.” defense Christian Borgatello (HC Meran | right defender): “If you stood on the ice with him during the face-off, then you knew: I didn’t have to worry. He radiated tremendous security. He may not be the biggest, but he was always present everywhere. Within seconds he darted from one corner to the other, always hot on his opponents' heels. I don't know of any other player who worked so hard on himself over the summer. An example."

Alexander Egger (career ended | right defender): “We supported each other in difficult moments on and off the ice for years. No other of my former teammates has achieved such a development; he has become an icon of Bolzano ice hockey - also thanks to his technical skills. He had a golden touch and an overview of the game like no other.”

Storm Tony Tuzzolino (career ended | right wing): “On the ice he was a gifted player who only performed at about half of his potential. Apart from that, he has had a decisive influence on me and my career. I would even say that as a person he left a lasting impression on my life. I am very grateful to him for that. During his time in South Tyrol he was like a big brother to me.”

Stefan Zisser (career ended | center): “I was lucky enough to be able to play on the same line with him for years. Nothing better can actually happen to you. No path was too far for him, he went where it hurt and automatically dragged you along with his irrepressible will. He was a born leader who was also tactically brilliant and won countless face-offs.”

Christian Walcher (career ended | left wing): “In the 20 years we played together, things didn't always go smoothly between us - and yet there were many parallels. We both studied alongside ice hockey and then started working at the same time. So we had the same difficulties getting everything together. A close bond automatically developed. When I think back to him, I always think of the semi-final series against Cortina in 2012. We played really well there, that was our collective highlight.” Joker Andrea Ambrosi (Pergine | Defender): “I hope I'm allowed to break the rules, but for him I'm adding a seventh player to my All-Star team. You can have the best team in the world, but without a special kind of player, you won't win a title. They are the cracks who always stand in the dressing room with a smile, even if things don't go their way. She unites an entire team with her charisma, spontaneity and human quality. Andrea is one such player.” Trainer Ron Kennedy (career ended): “During your career you get to know a wide variety of trainers who could hardly be more different personally and professionally. With some you are on the same wavelength, with others you are not at all. But you can learn something from everyone. With Ron, every word had a lot of weight; with him I absorbed everything like a sponge. He made me mature as a player and person like no other.”
