Master Ritten confirms Ahlström twins

The “Buam” squad is now complete. The Swedish twins are starting their second season with Ritten. Oscar Ahlström immediately knew how to impress in Klobenstein. The 30-year-old collected a total of 60 points in 53 competitive games. In addition to 27 assists, the attacker also netted 26 goals. No other player on the team has hit the mark as often as him. Oscar Ahlström grew up with his hometown club Huddinge IK. In the 2009/10 season he moved to league rivals AIK, which he immediately led to the top Swedish league. He then came to Frisk Asker in the Norwegian league via the second division clubs Södertälje SK and IF Sundsvall, where he scored 20 points in 13 games.

Victor Ahlström has played in the same line with his twin brother Oscar at all of his stations so far. He also began his career at Huddinge IK, for whom he also played in the second-tier Allsvenskan. In 2009/10 he also moved to league rivals AIK and then went first to the second division teams Södertälje SK and IF Sundsvall and then to the Norwegian league. There he laced up his skates 20 times for Frisk Asker. The Swede also made people sit up and take notice at Ritten. He even scored an impressive 60 points in 59 appearances this season. His 36 assists are particularly noticeable. In the AHL he had 57 points, making him the third most successful point collector in the league behind Anthony Nigro (70) and Dylan Stanley (60). In the +/- he came second behind Nigro, his twin brother Oscar Ahlström third and Simon Kostner, who played with the Swedish twins in the Ritten parade line, fourth. The Rittner trio will also cause a sensation in the AHL next winter.

Master Ritten confirms Ahlström twins

After the recently announced confirmation of goalie Patrick Killeen, AHL and Italian champion Ritten also extended the contracts with the Swedish attacker duo Oscar and Victor Ahlström for another season on Friday.
