The third away game in a row awaits HC Bozen on Tuesday evening. The fact that they not only lost the last two games in Znojmo and Vienna, but also the two previous home games against Salzburg and Vienna, have in no way diminished the self-confidence of the Pokel protégés. Full of enthusiasm, they travel to Carinthia, where they will compete with the runner-up from Villach. They have won all of the last seven games and also have the best attack in the league - especially John Hughes and Derek Ryan, who together have 105 points. “Nevertheless, we travel to Villach without fear. “We have to be wide awake from the start and try to keep their enormous offensive urge in check,” Alexander Egger believes he knows the recipe for success. He certainly doesn’t see HC Bozen on the decline: “We are in a difficult phase, no question about it. We simply don't score enough goals. Especially when we fall behind, we don't manage to strike back straight away. However, we continue to play very good ice hockey, which will bear fruit again in the long run.” After the away game at VSV, Bozen will play again in front of its home crowd against Innsbruck and Vienna at the weekend.

Pajic before debut, Tomassoni returns

When the game starts on Tuesday at 19.15:XNUMX p.m. (live on Radio NBC), HCB newcomer Rok Pajic will probably wear the white and red jersey for the first time. The former Pontebba and Pustertal striker will complete the first practice session with his new teammates on Monday evening and will therefore be at Coach Pokel's full disposal. As does Matt Tomassoni, who has served his suspension. Also missing are MacGregor Sharp, the suspended Kim Strömberg and Enrico Miglioranzi, who is taking part in the Universiade in Trentino with Italy's youth national team.
