No coaching effect yet: Bozen returns from Linz empty-handed

This worsens the Bolzano crisis: there has only been one win in the last 9 games. The change of coach hasn't had the desired effect either (Kai Suikkanen came in for Pat Curcio last week): The Bolzano team showed improvement on Friday against Klagenfurt and now on Sunday against Linz and at times kept up well with their highly traded opponents - but nothing quantifiable emerged from it.

After the break, Bozen pushed for an equalizer, but was repeatedly denied by the excellent Ouzas. On the other side, Locke did better: After a wonderful pass from Lebler, he played past Tuokkola and scored to make it 3-1. Linz continued to dominate the game after that, while Bozen couldn't go beyond a few counterattack opportunities.

In the final third, the HCB rebelled again at the beginning and also had some concrete opportunities. But there was no getting past Linz goalie Ouzas. DaSilve scored the final point to make it 1:4 via Empty net. Bozen still has the red lantern in its hand, Fehervar's penultimate place is five points away.
