Max Oberrauch, why are you no longer playing for HC Pustertal next season? “It was a difficult situation. Basically the decision was made for me. When I found out about participating in the ICE, I knew it would be tight. I'm a certain age now and can no longer afford it because of work and family. If I were 25 years old, I would be there without a second thought. As it is, it's difficult for me to combine it with my duties because it would be quite a bit more time-consuming than, for example, in the Alps Hockey League. In any case, it’s now just right.” Is it conceivable for you to continue your career at another club? "Yes, sure. I still feel good, have no complaints and still want to play. However, there is no rush to find a new club. So I don't know where I'll play next season. I have to make a compromise because going somewhere to train every day wouldn’t be what I want.” A statement from HC Pustertal states that you will remain with the club in some form. Can you reveal anything specific yet? “Ice hockey just won’t let me go. But I don't know exactly what my future at HCP will look like. If they need me, I try to support them as best as I can. I don't yet know what my job should be. In any case, I’m open to everything.” Another topic: Last season was your last in the HCP dress. Are you planning a big farewell party? “I don’t know exactly what or if the club is planning anything. I would be them ( those responsible, note d. Red. ) at least not bad if they didn't do anything.
