The climbers HC Pustertal and youth players What seemed utopian a few years ago became reality on Wednesday: HC Pustertal will play in the ICE Hockey League next season! The current club management around Jochen Schenk has not only given a huge gift to all HCP fans, but also to the entire South Tyrolean ice hockey movement and especially to the many youth players across the country. Why this is so is self-explanatory: HC Bozen has granted ICE playing time to eight South Tyroleans in the current season - including the players on loan. This number will probably double with the addition of the HCP. The door to professional ice hockey has opened a little bit wider for everyone who dreams of it. This only means good things for the youth sectors. Especially in times when they have to fight hard for every talent. In addition to the Wolves, who have truly earned their inclusion because of the great work that has been done in the club over the years, and their fans, who can (hopefully) express all their enthusiasm in the new jewelry box, there are the many youth players in the club the up-and-comers all over the country. The ball set by the HCB continues to gain momentum. The relegated one Wipptal Broncos The puck was placed perfectly, it still had to be sunk into the opponent's goal. Symbolically, exactly this fate befell the Wipptal Broncos on Sunday. One thing first: What Dustin Whitecotton's team achieved despite all the odds is impressive and cannot be overestimated. But on Sunday she lost a game that shouldn't have been lost. The decimated second representation of the KAC with only 14 field players was a guest in Brixen. A win was firmly planned in order to be able to go into the last remaining three games with peace of mind. However, Trevor Gooch & Co. were unable to implement the plan and Klagenfurt won 3-2. Despite this defeat, nothing is lost for the blue-whites in the fight for the top 12 in the AlpsHL. But the air has become unnecessarily thinner.
