Overtime win: Foxes win goal spectacle against Fehervar

The first third was full of action, with both teams throwing everything into the balance, particularly physically. Six players had to go to the penalty box in the first 20 minutes. Of course, that had an impact on the game: Kearney gave the HCB the lead when they had the advantage, and Sofron, also with one more man, equalized. When the Foxes were once again in the majority a few minutes later, Egger made a passing error, which Vas coldly took advantage of and gave Fehervar the 2-1 half-time lead.

After the break, the HCB pushed for the equalizer, but Palmieri initially missed while standing in front of the Fehervar goal, before Gander skillfully completed a combination with Bernard and Root and made it 2-2. But the guests didn't let up, once again made perfect use of a power-number situation (Oberdörfer was in the penalty box) and took the lead with a dry shot from former Pustertal striker Maylan. However, the HCB's answer followed immediately in the form of Reid, who shot from a distance and scored his 18th goal of the season - 3:3.

Overtime win: Foxes win goal spectacle against Fehervar

The 2000 spectators in the Bolzano Eiswelle were treated to a spectacular game on Tuesday evening. The HCB Südtirol Alperia had against the 30th place in the table on the 9th EBEL matchday. Fehervar struggled, but ultimately prevailed 5-4 after extra time.
