Peter Campbell extends with HC Eppan - further transfers

Peter Campbell is entering his third season with the HCE. The 32-year-old center has proven to be the Pirates' attack engine over the last two years. With an average of two points per game, his offensive qualities are undisputed. Overall, Campbell finished last season in second place in the scorers rankings with 74 points in 32 games, where he was also the top scorer in the A41 championship with 2 goals.

The technical management of the senior team, led by Alexander Hofer, coach Jarno Mensonen and team leader Markus Meraner, is currently working at full speed to complete the team for the upcoming 30th anniversary season.

Since the entire regular squad, apart from defender Andreas Pichler, will continue to be on board, it is now important to specifically strengthen the team so that the best possible conditions can be created for the new season - according to the HCE.

In the meantime, the regular players start their summer training with fitness coach Alex Doliana, where they work intensively on strength and endurance three times a week.

Ellis won the Serie A2 title with the Pirates two years ago, but was released last year shortly before the play-off games. The Canadian coach moved to Valpellice and eliminated runner-up Ritten with the Piedmontese in the play-off quarter-finals. In the semifinals he then failed against HC Pustertal.

The Merano defender Chris Allen , who only played six play-off games with the Black and Whites, is returning to the Peterborough Phantoms in the English league.

Another former Serie A player is also changing clubs. Greg Jacina , who scored a total of 2009 points for Ritten Sport in the 2010/60 season, is moving from Odense to Frederikshavn in Denmark.
