At the tender ice hockey age of 28, Philipp Pircher seemed to have reached the peak of his career. He played his best Serie A season ever, captaining his home club WSV Vipiteno to the semi-finals. But now, of all times, the defender from Brixen is surprisingly drawing a line in the sand.
