HC Pustertal celebrated a successful semi-final start in the home game against HC Alleghe. HCP coach Kivelä had to do without Persson as a surplus transfer card player, but was able to fall back on Kelly and Oberrauch. At Alleghe, DaTos returned to the ice, but the injured Mike Card and Alberto Fontanive had to pass. The guests got off to a flying start and took the lead through Joni Haverinen after just over two minutes. However, Pustertal struck back immediately with a hammer shot from David Ling. However, Alleghe didn't seem at all impressed: just 16 seconds after the equalizer, Nicola Fontanive gave the visitors the lead again. The Bellunese even had two chances to extend their lead when they had the majority, but missed all the chances. And they were promptly punished by the HCP: Oberrauch used a pass from Ling and Scandella and scored to make it 2-2 (15.50). Just a minute later, Patrick Bona gave Alleghe goalie Dennis the loss for the third time. Now HC Pustertal held the scepter firmly in its hand. Although the Alleghe Cracks appeared dangerously in front of Strömberg a few times, especially at the beginning of the middle section, as the encounter continued, the Wolves pushed the opponent further and further in front of their own goal. When the Bruneckers were able to act in the majority, they struck a fourth time after 31 minutes. Once again it was the great Ling who got on the scoresheet. Alleghe's nerves were now on edge: Adam Henrich had to go into the cooler for ten minutes after an attack on Mair. The hosts, on the other hand, controlled the encounter and did not allow Alleghe to have a chance. So the encounter sputtered along in the final third without any significant work for goalie Strömberg. His front men withstood the aggressive style of play of McKenna's troops, who for their part couldn't find any effective means of breaking down the defensive bulwark. The Red-Whites' best chances came from Hogeboom and Nicola Fontanive. On the other side, Ling caused danger on several occasions. However, the score of 4:2 did not change until the final siren.

HC Bozen started the play-off semi-finals with a home win. Adolf Insam's team defeated old champions Cortina with 1500-3 goals in the ice wave in front of around 1 spectators. All three of the White-Red's goals were scored by the third line of strikers. In addition to the long-term ill Josh Meyers and Derek Edwardson, Bolzano also missed Stefan Zisser, who suddenly fell ill before the game. The guests, however, had to make do without the injured Luca Zanatta and Jan Öberg, who was banished to the stands as a surplus foreigner. Right from the start you could tell that there was a lot at stake in this play-off semi-final. Both teams played hard but fairly. Bolzano had the first opportunity with Mac Gregor Sharp, on the other side Johansson was denied by goalkeeper Zaba. In the 7.08 minute, Cortina took advantage of Bolzano's first mistake and took the lead. Menei took the puck from Mark Mc Cutcheon, started the counterattack and gave Zaba no chance: 1-0 for the guests. Bozen reacted promptly, with Christian Walcher, who fought for the puck on the boards and Enrico Dorigatti played free. The Bolzano striker got up and away and scored to make it 1-1. It was the 32-year-old's second goal of the season. The home team then missed three huge chances to make it 2-1. Bolzano also had luck on its side in the 12th minute when Felicetti ran alone towards Zaba's goal but then shot wide. Hennigar then also failed because of the Bolzano goalkeeper. The last minutes belonged to the hosts again. First Giliati missed alone in front of Levasseur, then Tuomo Harjula scored on a pass from Borgatello to make it 2-1. Mark Isherwood was in the penalty box. In 28,48 minutes Bozen scored the third goal, again with the third block. Harjula got the puck in their own third, passed it to Chrstian Walcher, who powered through on his own and beat Levasseur with a powerful shot to make it 3-1. Cortina then tried to increase the pressure, but never became particularly dangerous. Until shortly before the second break, when Egger was just able to fend off a shot from Menei. In the 7th minute of the final third, Anton Bernard could have finally closed the bag, but narrowly missed the opponent's goal. Two minutes later, Giliati missed alone in front of Zaba and Brandon Rogers also failed to put the rebound into the Cortina goal. After 75 seconds, Menei created tension again with the goal, but the HCB withstood the opposing attacks in the final minute. So it remained a deserved 3-2 win for the people of Bolzano.
