Draw in the CHL semi-finals: Hochkofler is aiming for the final with Salzburg

After the first family duel against Red Bull Salzburg (with Peter Hochkofler from Eppan on the ice), favorite Red Bull Munich has to worry about making it to the final of the Champions Hockey League for the first time. The German ice hockey series champions couldn't get past a goalless draw against the Austrians in the semi-final first leg on Tuesday after a thrilling final phase. Frank Mauer (42nd), free in front of goalkeeper Michalek, almost ensured that Munich got off to an optimal start in the final third. But Bayern were also unable to benefit from a time penalty (2 minutes plus 2) against Salzburg's Matthias Trattnig. On the other side, the Austrians (47th) even hit the post. The showdown remained heated until the end, and Hochkofler was also repeatedly involved.
